JAMIOLAS2: supporting Japanese mimetic words and onomatopoeia learning with wireless sensor networks for overseas students
نویسندگان
چکیده
This paper proposes an improved context-aware language supported system for learning Japanese mimetic words and onomatopoeia (MIO) using wireless sensor network “MOTE”. In our previous work, a learner wears sensors so that the system provides the appropriate MIO expressions at his/her place. In this current system called JAMIOLAS (Supporting Japanese Mimetic words and Onomatopoeia Learning with Sensors for Non-Japanese) 2.0, MOTE is used to get appropriate data from the environment, for example, temperature and light. The system recommends the right place for the right person to learn the right MIO expressions. This paper describes the implementation, the interface and usage scenario of JAMIOLAS 2.0.

متن کاملAn Adaptive Congestion Alleviating Protocol for Healthcare Applications in Wireless Body Sensor Networks: Learning Automata Approach
Wireless Body Sensor Networks (WBSNs) involve a convergence of biosensors, wireless communication and networks technologies. WBSN enables real-time healthcare services to users. Wireless sensors can be used to monitor patients’ physical conditions and transfer real time vital signs to the emergency center or individual doctors. Wireless networks are subject to more packet loss and congestion. T...

In this article, the authors propose an improved context-aware system to support the learning of Japanese mimicry and onomatopoeia (MIO) using sensor data. In the authors’ two previous studies, they proposed a context-aware language learning assistant system named JAMIOLAS (JApanese MImicry and Onomatopoeia Learning Assistant System). The authors used wearable sensors and sensor networks, respe...
متن کاملLPKP: location-based probabilistic key pre-distribution scheme for large-scale wireless sensor networks using graph coloring
Communication security of wireless sensor networks is achieved using cryptographic keys assigned to the nodes. Due to resource constraints in such networks, random key pre-distribution schemes are of high interest. Although in most of these schemes no location information is considered, there are scenarios that location information can be obtained by nodes after their deployment. In this paper,...
متن کاملRegion Directed Diffusion in Sensor Network Using Learning Automata:RDDLA
One of the main challenges in wireless sensor network is energy problem and life cycle of nodes in networks. Several methods can be used for increasing life cycle of nodes. One of these methods is load balancing in nodes while transmitting data from source to destination. Directed diffusion algorithm is one of declared methods in wireless sensor networks which is data-oriented algorithm. Direct...
